Equestria Girls - redesigned

Sooo... After watching Friendship Games, there was one thing that I couldn't get out of my head. If Sunset Shimmer got a new outlook, then why didn't the rest of the main characters got one?
So I took the opportunity, and started to take my headcanons for the Eqg characters, and not just do changes to their outfits, but throwing in how I'd imagine their physical attributes...

Altough I'm not bothered much how they look like in the actual movies, mostly because I know exactly why they look like they way the look, but... I like to play with the ideas as how they'd look like with the personality they have, or what they usually do in the show/movies. I'd like to make a note though that the heights here are not very accurate and they may change over time.

So... *ahem* Headcanon time!

- Rainbow Dash: I actually based RD's body of someone I know. Athletic, but short. Short as in like 150 cm tall. Also, I imagine her as a person who doesn't have much feminine features. Altough that doesn't bother her. Not at all. No one would even dare to point out her height or her not-wery-ladylike figure, because they know she'd kick their butt. Rainbow would kick anyone's butt. No-one messes with the short athlete, and pray to whatever you believe in, if you mess with her friends.
I redesigned her outfit to fit her athletic personality. Gave her a better jacket, replaced the skirt with jeans... I was thinking of keeping the jacket's original colours, but then I thought that Rainbow definitely would be that person who'd wear very eye-catching colours.

- Applejack: Now, in height, AJ is the opposite of Rainbow Dash. AJ's tall, and has a terrifying strenght to it. I always imagine Applejack to be that person who'd be a little intimidating but also you'd feel safe around her. Applejack's the kind of person that doesn't care much for her looks, which are not really to her advantage but she couldn't care less. She's happy how she is and that's what it matters. Or at least she'd be happy, if Rarity didn't keep bringing up the subject...
I didn't change much on her outfit outside of changing to colour of her shirt and giving her jeans instead of a skirt. Much more fitting for a hard-working farmer she is.

- Fluttershy: She's not much shorter than Applejack, which isn't helping with the fact that she'd rather blend in with the crowd. Altough, she still tries. I imagine that she'd have a really thin figure, almost to the point it would worry people if she's healthy enough.
Fluttershy's original eqg design was one of those that I really didn't like. I can't imagine her wearing a miniskirt and boots. It just doesn't fit the character. That's why I drew her with a longer skirt and sandals.

- Rarity: Rarity's one of the characters that I could actually imagine in the was she was in the movies. After all, she's the 'pretty' girl. I am well aware, that beauty is subjective, but I guess she'd have the qualities close to today's beauty standards. I don't know. It feels fitting. For her clothes, I only did a few changes on her skirt and her boots.

- Pinkie Pie: And we're at the point where I'm changing my tone. I know well, what people might think: "Spectral, why did you make Pinkie fat but not the others?" The answer is simple: It just felt fitting for the character. I know many people who are overweight, heck, even I am not much of a thin person. I know that obesity is often associated with unhealthyness and lazyness, but that's not always the case. What my point is, that I can imagine Pinkie being overweight, yet still be her cheerful, hyperactive self as we know her from the show. There are people like that. That's all I wanted to say.
For her clothes, I almost didn't change anything, but I didn't like how her skirt came out and drew shorts on her instead. And made the boots smaller. And removed all the bows from her clothing.

So yeah, that'd be all.
